An infinite variety of experiences cause a man to pray.  In a polytheistic world, like that of D&D, it’s important to know which god to pray to for what reason.  This can be an easy decision (you want your heist to go well – pray to the god of theives) or a complicated one (your intelligent, magic using mule has acquired a rare disease the night before your big heist – Umm, god of animals?  god of medicine?  god of magic users?  god of theives?).  What happens if you pray to the wrong one?  Does the right one get annoyed and make things worse?

In this campaign world it is not uncommon to hear somebody tell the story of how they saw a particular god appear in such and such a place; or for them to explain some event through an act of the gods.

The gods worshipped here are all the same ones detailed in the core books, with a couple of slight additions to their areas of command.  For the time being I’m going to only detail the Good or Unaligned gods, as these are the ones that you will have the most opportunity to interact with.  You will learn more about the other gods, but that will come through the game itself.

*EDIT* added the gods up to Melora.  I’ll update the remaining 4 when I can.

We meet on orange days, in the furble.

The next installment in our litte adventure is ready to go.  I put in the final touches, i.e. treasure, this morning.  There should be something in there to appeal to most characters, I think.  Anyway, this raises the question of when shall we meet again?

Various things have happened over this week that have left me without a reasonable time to play this weekend, but I’m ready to go next weekend.  My available times are:

Friday night – 9pm onwards

Saturday – 4:30pm onwards

Sunday – All friggin’ day!

Let me know when you’re free and we’ll see if we can’t organize the best time.

During the week I’ll be posting the backstories I’ve got for various characters already (vague-ish one for Geovanna, Isley of the Apricot’s one etc), and hopefully a couple on notes about the campaign world to help you succeed.

I’ve mentioned before that I have this campaign planned so far up to about level 15, and it will most likely go beyond that.  Time is going to be important in this campaign aswell, so keep that in mind whenever you pass a horse merchant.

Apart from that, I look forward to killing you playing with you soon!

EDIT:  Regarding Isley the unadaptable.  I know that specific alternating weekends are good for you, and that next weekend is not one of those.  With just a little luck we will be able to play next weekend AND the weekend after.  From then we can settle into a fortnightly system that you should be able to attend.  Either that or Tim and Pace will take turns controlling your character in a new role called ‘chief danger tester,’ testing situations for how dangerous they are.

I sincerely hope you can attend.
