…is a trial.  Some battles are epic, life or death struggles; others verge on insignificance.  It might be fighting with yourself to stop buying from vending machines – or it might be a life saving operation.  Today I fought and lost the significant kind of battle.

Being Australian, like most religions, includes certain core beliefs – one of them being that AC/DC long ago mastered the art of Rock and Roll.  Normally on the trip home from work I walk with my beautiful wife, but today she was visiting friends.  I took the opportunity to listen to the epitome of music (see above) through headphones connected to my ketai.  This meant I was perhaps a little distracted as I came home.  That’s when it happened.

I lost the battle to not play air guitar in public.

but was it really a loss?
