Dungeons and Dragons.  Considering the name, there are an aweful lot of dungeons without dragons these days.

The consensus seems to be Friday or Saturday Sunday night.  That means starting at 9pm QLD time for a 3 hour run.  If you have a particular preference for either night let me know.

I can’t expect everybody to know all the rules by then either, but what would really help is if you could be familiar with your own character’s powers.  The rest of the stuff I’ll try to explain as we go along.

Oh and on Monday we’ll be looking into the history of Isley, one of the new members of our band of adventurers.

Which one is he?  I’ll give you a hint… you can see his chest!

Hmm, we’ll have to see what Doug can manage then.
I will be giving preference to those who played in the first campaign… but I’d really like to see everybody there too.

I will be able to do Sunday afternoon/evenings if that is cool. Saturdays would also be acceptable however I think the Yhetti works then.

What time would we be going for on the Sunday if that is when things are going to be happening?

Also, Yhett and I have had a go at character creation for me. GilJew the Rogue is (mostly) ready to go.

If you can tell me the starting budget I will have him all kitted out too (I actually already have him all kitted out, but have assumed a starting budget of 100 gp).

Also this is Smith here (just in case you thought it was some other person who would call themselves dougler)

Well last night’s impromptu adventure was, in my opinion, a bit hasty. I skipped a lot of descriptions, as well as any sort of role-playing and went straight for the action. I also forgot to explain to Doug the special ‘marking’ rule that would have helped him.

Nonetheless, it’s nice to actually do SOMETHING on a weekend. I did make one *slight* mistake though. The xp I gave was actually for the whole encounter. It should have been (for what we completed) about 45xp each…. But I’m not one to give and then take away. I awarded a certain amount of XP, and that’s where it stands.

just as well it was cut a little short, poor old one eye was starting to feel some hurt and no one likes a brusied wang! Was a a good bit of fun though and i think people are starting to get a better feel for the rules. I’ll print out some stuff for me and tim as well so its a bit more streamlined then us looking through a fuckig pdf for our abilities etc.
